After earning a Bachelor of Arts degree from Nicholls State University in 2009, Thibodaux native Benjamin Anthony Comeaux became a police officer and entered the accounting industry before becoming a lawyer. Comeaux attended the Southern University Law Center where he graduated cum laude in 2014.
While working toward his law degree, Comeaux was an intern for the Orleans Public Defenders Office and an intern for the Honorable John L. Weimer, Associate Justice for the Louisiana Supreme Court, where he reviewed and analyzed writs submitted to the Supreme Court. Comeaux also worked as a Judicial Law Clerk for a Louisiana District Court Judge and eventually opened his own law firm in 2014.
In addition to his private practice, Comeaux is a member of the Thibodaux Volunteer Fire Department, where he is a Lieutenant, a member of the Thibodaux Lion's Club, where he is a board member, and is a past President of the Lafourche Parish Bar Association.
