Jessie is from Ypsilanti, Michigan. In 2014, Jessie obtained her Juris Doctorate from Western Michigan University Cooley Law School in Ann Arbor, Michigan. During her time at Cooley, Jessie continued to work as a social worker in the Metro Detroit area and volunteered her time at the Washtenaw County Office of Public Defender and as a Court Appointed Special Advocate (CASA). Jessie was admitted to practice law in Kentucky in 2016.
Jessie's practice includes both criminal defense and civil litigation. As a criminal defense attorney, she has successfully defended clients faced with charges ranging from simple traffic violations to Class A felonies. She is very experienced in handling drunk driving, theft, assault, and drug cases. Outside of the courtroom, Jessie currently serves as Secretary for the Bell County Bar Association.
