Ashley is a partner with Thompson, Meier & King, P.C. She grew up in Cherokee County, Georgia attending Johnston Elementary School, Dean Rusk Middle School, and Cherokee High School. While at Cherokee High School, Ashley began what would become a fifteen yearlong involvement with mock trial teams across the country. Ashley received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Political Science from Kennesaw State University in 2006. While at Kennesaw, Ashley participated in four years of collegiate mock trial competitions, leading her team to many successful years, including placing second in the National Mock Trial Competition in 2006.

Ashley graduated from Thomas M. Cooley Law School, Auburn Hills campus, in 2010. In law school, Ashley was awarded the Leadership Achievement Award, which is the most prestigious award that the law school presents to a student. Ashley served as the Chair of the Auburn Hills Mock Trial Executive Board and she was a member of the first national mock trial team to compete from Auburn Hills. Ashley won the intra-school individual mock trial competition which distinguished her as the top litigator at Thomas M. Cooley law school. Ashley returned to Georgia in 2010 when she joined Thompson, Meier and King, P.C. as a clerk and was subsequently hired as an attorney.

Since joining the firm, Ashley has built her practice in the area of family and criminal law after spending several years practicing child welfare law. Ashley continues to be a leader in the community and recently received the Top 10 in 10 Young Professionals Under 40 award from the Cherokee County Chamber of Commerce.  In 2016, Ashley was also awarded with the prestigious award of Top 40 Under 40 by The National Advocates as well as the an award for being of the Top 10 Best Family Law Attorneys by the American Institute of Family Law Attorneys. 

Ashley is also actively involved with the Service League of Cherokee County, which is an organization of 100 women who volunteer to help the needy children of Cherokee County. She also serves as an attorney advisor for the Cherokee High School Mock Trial Team. Ashley lives in in Cherokee County with her husband, daughter and three dogs.
