Prior to opening Casy Gonzalez Law, PLLC Casey Gonzalez served as an Assistant District Attorney in the Harris County District Attorney’s Office in Houston, Texas. For over a decade, she handled countless cases ranging from DWI’s and simple drug possession to aggravated robberies and Capital Murder. For the last several years of her career at the Harris County District Attorney’s Office, Casey Gonzalez specialized solely in Capital Murder litigation.

Casey Gonzalez’s work and experience as a prosecutor brings a unique perspective to her criminal defense practice, and provides invaluable insights into the inner workings of the criminal justice system, allowing her to anticipate the strategies and arguments of the prosecution. Casey Gonzalez’s commitment to protecting her client’s rights, coupled with her comprehensive knowledge of both sides of the courtroom, ensures no stone will be left unturned in her pursuit of a favorable outcome for her clients.

Casey Gonzalez graduated with her BA in Psychology from the University of Alberta in Canada. She then attended South Texas College of Law in Houston, Texas where she received her Juris Doctorate while specializing in Criminal Trial Advocacy.

In October of 2023, Casey Gonzalez’s dream of opening her own criminal defense firm became a reality, and Casey Gonzalez Law, PLLC was created. One year later, Casey Gonzalez was honored to have her husband join the firm as a partner and expand the firm to include, civil litigation, including personal injury and commercial litigation. As a member of the private defense bar, and specializing in the most serious felony offenses, Casey Gonzalez now dedicates herself to those in need of an experienced criminal defense attorney dedicated to their case. This often includes representation of indigent clients.

Casey Gonzalez resides in the Houston, Texas area with her husband, two beautiful children, and their dog, Blue Belle.
