After graduating from CU Law School in 1973, Craig Truman worked as a public defender until starting his private practice in 1985.  In addition to his busy practice, he is frequently requested to teach judge, attorney, and law enforcement training courses and often called upon as an expert witness.  Craig is a founding member of the Colorado Criminal Defense Bar, a sustaining member of the National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers, and a fellow in the Colorado Bar Foundation, the American College of Trial Lawyers, and the American Board of Criminal Lawyers.  Craig has been listed annually in Best Lawyers in America since 1987 and in Colorado Super Lawyers since its 2006 inception.  He has been rated A/V and listed in the Bar Register of Preeminent Lawyers in Martindale Hubbell since 1981.  Craig is also listed in the National Association of Distinguished Counsel for 2015.
