While at Sasscer, Clagett & Bucher, Maria Patterson worked with former prosecutors and tried many civil jury trials. Thereafter, she worked for the Law Offices of Timothy S. Smith & Associates in Greenbelt, Maryland where she routinely tried over a dozen jury trials per year. Prior to opening her own law firm, Maria Patterson worked as an Associate County Attorney for Prince George's County in Upper Marlboro, Maryland. During her tenure as an Associate County Attorney, Maria Patterson was involved in several high profile cases that were followed by local and national media outlets, including the Washington Post. Many of her high profile cases involved allegations of police misconduct, failure to follow police procedures, and malicious prosecutions. At Reinstein, Glackin, Patterson & Herriott, Maria Patterson is Of Counsel and represents individuals injured in accidents and individuals who are criminally charged with misdemeanors and felonies in Prince George's, Anne Arundel, Calvert, Montgomery, Howard, St. Mary's, and Charles Counties.
