Snapper Tams is a Co-Founding Partner of Cerulean Law Group, PC and an experienced litigation attorney focused on criminal, DUI, and traffic defense throughout Northern Virginia. Drawing on his experience on both sides of the courtroom, Snapper anticipates how the government will build its case, identifies gaps and weaknesses in its evidence, and develops strategic defenses tailored to each client's circumstances.

Before co-founding Cerulean Law Group, Snapper served as a Senior Assistant Commonwealth's Attorney in Loudoun County, where he prosecuted a wide range of felony and misdemeanor offenses and handled complex litigation involving vehicular crashes, electronic evidence, and drug and blood evidence.

Snapper earned his J.D. with honors from the University of Richmond School of Law, where he served as President of the Criminal Law Society, Managing Editor of the Public Interest Law Review, and a member of the Order of the Barristers. He has been named one of Virginia's Top 10 Criminal Defense Attorneys Under 40 by the National Academy of Criminal Defense Attorneys and recognized as a Super Lawyers Rising Star.
